Fueling Kids' Curiosity and Faith
Welcome to Children's Church!
We love our kids! Our goal each week is to fuel kids' curiosity with engaging Bible stories that they will be able to really experience and see how the stories apply to their lives. Children’s church is geared for kids age 4 thru 5th grade
We have been known to have live re-enactments of the stories, using adult leaders, youth students, and the children themselves wearing costumes and using fun props. We will teach them how to live more like Jesus and, hopefully, have lots and lots of fun!
We have a large group worship experience and utilize Amazing Life’s Orange curriculum. This curriculum includes “resources for parents to continue the faith conversation at home.” You can check out their website: thinkorange.com
Children's Worship takes place during the 9:30 Sunday service, upstairs in our Children's wing. Children will go into the service with their parents for the first 15 minutes during opening worship songs and come up front for the Small Talk message.
The children are then dismissed to Children' Church, so parents can fully engage in the message and the rest of the service. Children are picked up after the service in the lobby.
NOTE: There are activity bags available for children who stay with their parents during service or attend the 11:00 am service. Our ushers can show you where the activity bags are located.
